Jason and Nisae Williamson minister among the Iski people of Papua New Guinea (PNG). Recently eight students with the Interface program travelled to Iski to “engage with [the] maturing Iski church.” On their travels to Iski, God used a canoe motor failure to lead the group to a village of the people group called the Abu. “The villagers shared their desire to have God’s Word translated into their own language.” Then, while in Iski, church elder Ranka “took the opportunity to challenge [the Interface students] with the need for labourers here in PNG, and more specifically the people groups around Iski.” Pray that these Interface students and others like them would take up this challenge. Pray that “one day … the Abu people will come to know their Creator.”
After Ranka challenged the students, one student said, “How can I do anything else with my life after hearing a challenge like that and seeing this need firsthand?”
