Mark and Holly Woodard and Brian and Andrea Holmquist ministered among the Bagwido people of Papua New Guinea. The Woodards share that the “Bagwido language group has four villages. After the first two heard the gospel, God opened their eyes to Himself, and churches were born. The natural logical progression was then to go to the next two villages: ‘T’ and ‘S.’ However, for 10 years they have been adamantly opposed to the gospel coming down.” After years of prayer and intentional relationship building, God softened hearts, “and as of a year ago, these villages have offered an open door to the Bible being taught.” Praise God for His sovereignty. Pray for Dono and his wife, Karolin, and for Jenitin and his wife, Antonia. They are the first missionaries to be sent out from the church of village “M” and will be working in the “T” village.
