Scott and Natasha Flaugher minister among the Elsengg people of Asia Pacific. Their Elsengg friend passed away recently, and a man from another village, thinking the Elsengg man’s death is “the result of sorcery and evil spirits,” was warning the Flaughers’ Elsengg friends to run away. “The fear our friends were experiencing was palpable. We met as a family and started praying, not sure if anyone would even come to the teaching. Thankfully, nearly everyone in the village came. … Scott told them that nothing would make the evil spirits happier than to have them leave and run instead of staying to hear God’s Truth. … Please join us in praying for our friends to stay in the village and cry out to God for help, to keep coming to the Bible teaching and to desire God’s Truth.”
