This is the start of a process to help the Chimane believers reinforce their Spanish-language fluency, especially when it comes to “Bible lingo.” “Not only is the goal for them to be able to read and understand the Bible in Spanish, it will also serve to help the Chimane church integrate with the national Spanish-speaking church. It will equip the men to be better able to minister to non-Chimane speaking people that they encounter. It will also be a bridge to reach the younger generation of Chimane people who are rapidly learning Spanish and slowly leaving the Chimane language behind.” Pray for a successful first class.
