Michael and Morgan LeBlanc minister among the Kuyu people of Papua New Guinea. Praise God that 12 men and women have graduated from the Kuyu’s first literacy class. “Eight of the 12 graduates will become teachers for the next round of classes.” Learning to read and write in the Kuyu language will allow the Kuyu people to read Scripture for themselves. “As literacy moves forward, so does translation. We now have 98% of the Scripture passages needed for our Phase 1 [Bible] teaching drafted. … Pray for the lesson review team (Tadius, Augustin and Vincent) as they hear these Bible lessons for the first time. Ask the Lord to give them clear understanding and helpful feedback as we continue refining the material.”
