Adam and Julie Martin minister among the Akolet people of Papua New Guinea. Praise God that the Akolet New Testament translation is progressing well. “We plan to have [the Gospel of] John consultant-checked (the final step before printing and distributing) in August, at which time the only remaining books will be Titus, Philemon and Jude.” Pray that this momentum will continue through to the end of the translation project. Pray that God would sustain the translation team as they faithfully plug away at translation. Pray for the Akolet church to delight in God’s Word and to thrive as they grow in Christ’s likeness.
