Andrew and Rachel Trott minister among the Maliyali people of Papua New Guinea. Over the past year — even as the missionary families had to come and go and the church was briefly alone — Maliyali Bible teachers faithfully taught through the Creation to Christ lessons with the community, reminding them of what they had already heard back in 2022. For those who did not believe when they heard the Good News in 2022, it was another chance to hear and accept the gospel. The Lord taught the nervous Bible teachers that “it is not the one proclaiming the message, but the Lord by His Spirit alone who is able to draw and change hearts as His Word is proclaimed clearly.” And praise God, He did change hearts! There are ten new believers in Maliyali.
