Pray for the Iski: Standing Strong in God's Word

In celebration of serving in Papua New Guinea (PNG) for 75 years (as of 2025), we are praying for a series of people groups among  whom New Tribes Mission PNG is working. Today let’s pray for the Iski people who live in many different hamlets and villages along the Ramu River in Madang Province.

Religion has been around for almost a century, but there is confusion about the gospel message. Church planters ministered among them for many years, and after hearing God’s Word in their language, some believed, and a church was born. The complete Iski New Testament and many Old Testament portions will be printed this year.

Pray for the church as they continue to grow in their love for Christ. Pray that they would stand strong on His Word. Pray that God would prepare hearts for the gospel to spread to more and more villages. Pray for the Iski church and its leaders to be faithful witnesses and ministers of the Word of God.
