Pray that the attendees would leave these workshops encouraged and better prepared to teach the Bible to their communities. Praise God for Quechua labourers.
Bill Michaud attended a week of fellowship between the Pawaian and Gimi churches — two people groups who have been growing closer together as the Gimi church leaders have discipled the Pawaian believers for 10 years. During this celebration, “the responsibility for leading the 12 Pawaian churches was transferred from the Gimi men to the Pawaian men. … Keep the groups in your prayers for the Pawaians to be faithful and for the Gimis as they have already identified another group that needs to be discipled.”
Praise God that “there are always Kovol people eager to help check Bible passages we are translating.” Finally, pray for the biweekly kids club. “We are hoping to start teaching them the gospel this month. Please pray for regular attendance and clear understanding!”
Praise God for using aviation to sustain ministries like the Inapang ministry. Pray that God will continue to supply for flights to remote ministry locations.
Pray for the lesson review team (Tadius, Augustin and Vincent) as they hear these Bible lessons for the first time. Ask the Lord to give them clear understanding and helpful feedback as we continue refining the material.
Pray that the recipients will remember how to use and care for the radios and that they will tune into the teaching as it is broadcasted. There are many more villages who do not have access to the radio program or to God’s Word. Pray that God will provide the funds needed to purchase 1,000 more radios.
