The missionaries among the “J” people of Latin America share, “[A] relatively new believer from the northern ‘J’ village sent us a notice ... of baptisms in his village: 191 believers, many of them youths! It was only five or six years ago that five ‘J’ families moved from the southern village we lived in (and where our national co-workers now live) to this northern village to teach there at their invitation. Over months and months, they taught them from Genesis to the gospel of Christ’s death and resurrection and then into Acts, Romans and several epistles. These ‘J’ missionaries taught as they had been taught in the years 1997- 2005. Now many there in the northern village are taking the same message to outlying areas. Hence, so many baptisms. God is working mightily among the ‘J’ people.”

Praise God for the power of the gospel, which is spreading like wildfire in this region of Latin America. Pray that He would sustain the “J” missionaries. Pray for the new believers to grow in the Word.
